The Ranch - Memorial Day camping...

Ry's aunt & uncle own some property up in Rattlesnake Canyon, called "The Earhart Ranch". Every year we camp out in the field with our family and friends. This year we had perfect weather and good times!

The first morning we woke up to a flat tire...BUMMER!




Austin was FILTHY...I called him "pig pen" because he was had a cloud of dust and dirt around him the entire weekend!

I finally broke down and had to give him a mini-shower.

The kids favorite part was making smores around the campfire at night!

Cindy helped Peyton walk down the steep slope to get to the top of the falls.

The kids enjoyed playing in the water at the top of a 100 foot waterfall!

This is the top of the waterfall...it's about a 100 foot drop. And, yes...that's Rudy right at the edge!

Wednesdays in the park...

For the past few weeks, a small group of us from Peyton's preschool class has been meeting up at the local parks for a picnic and play time for the kids. It's a great way to get to know each other better, let the kids play and burn off some of their never-ending energy! We have a few more weeks until the end of the school year...hopefully we can do this once in a while over the summer! The kids have the best time RUNNING all over the parks!

Dinner and a movie...

The Mistkawi family invited us over for dinner, then we walked over to the Franus' for a movie in their backyard! All the kids snuggled in their blankets under the stars for the movie! What a great night!!!

Train to Seattle...

Peyton & I took the train to Seattle for the weekend to see our friends Kim, Pete & Henry. It was the first time either of us had been on a train...it was a fun experience!
